Commissions
Soft Pastel Portraits:

The turnaround time for a commissioned portrait is four weeks. My portraits are painted with top quality materials made to last. I take pride in the high quality art materials I use to create your portrait. The paper used depends on the portrait.
I typically use Hahnemuhle velour Artist Paper which has been in production for 420 years and is made to resist aging and is vegan. It has a soft, velvety appearance and excellent for creating soft skin and textured fur.

I also use PastelMat, produced by Clairefontaine, which has been around for over 150 years. It has a more coarser surface than velour but is softer than sandpaper.
​
All of the papers I use come in various colors, which we can discuss in our first meeting.
​
I mainly use Rembrandt, high quality soft pastels to paint with, which come in 218 colors. Rembrandt pastels were first introduced in 1924 in the Netherlands and are made from pigment and kaolin clay as a binder. They do not contain any heavy metal pigments.

Once the project is completed, I will e-mail you a digital photo of the finished piece so that you can approve. Once the portrait is approved you will be expected to pay the remaining balance.

Landscapes:
​
Turnaround time for abstract landscapes: one week.
Turnaround time for detailed realistic landscapes can range: two-four weeks.

Custom soft pastel landscapes can either be completely abstract or realistic and detailed. Prices and sizes are based on what you are looking for and the detail involved. Custom realistic landscapes I will review the photo or idea you have and then let you know a price. Abstract prices below.
